During New York Fashion Week, I attended one of the most exciting, glamour shoes of the season; Georgine Spring/Summer 2015. This collection was inspired by Bianca Jagger, and other trend-setting glam woman who vacationed in Saint-Tropez during the 1970’s.
The palette featured golds, rich creams, fresh mint, and metallics. Handbags were in the shape of surfboards , and models with fresh skin and light lip gloss walked down the runways. Gordon Espinet, who headed the beauty team for the collection described the makeup look: “This is a woman who is spending her day on a yacht in the South of France. She doesn’t have time to fuss around with makeup- She’s on vacation! –But, she wants to look glamorous. There’s an effortlessness to this look.” The models had barrel curls that were brushed out, or wore amazingly cool head scarves. Intricately beaded swimsuits, and embroidered trench coats were key looks this season.
